    Lenox Advisors is a full-service, multi-faceted financial services firm.  Our clients hire us for our commitment to help them achieve long-term financial success.  We have an immediate opportunity for a Help Desk Associate in our Information Technology department.

    The Help Desk Associate acts as Level 1 & 2 desktop support for all incoming issues and provides technical assistance to employees and affiliated personnel.

    Responsibilities

    What you’ll be doing:

    • Act as Level 1 & 2 desktop support.
    • Address support calls, tickets, and user walk-ins.
    • Multitask when necessary - Handle multiple calls and tickets at the same time.
    • Prioritize accordingly to maintain a high level of client service.
    • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and escalate as necessary (i.e. VPN Technology, Office products, Account lockouts, Phone systems, “Blue Screens,” Malware)
    • Fix, update and maintain all desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices and technology peripherals
    • Troubleshoot mobile devices and email functionality. (i.e. Blackberry, iPhone, Android)
    • Coordinate PC repairs, software/hardware installations
    • Follow proper on-boarding and off-boarding, and security procedures.
    • Assemble and disassemble PC hardware as necessary (i.e. office moves)
    • Work closely with Helpdesk Manager to ensure timely end-user support and quality of service
    • Troubleshoot issues with printing, scanning, network connection, and CRM systems.
    • Act as a liaison between support vendors and affiliated companies as necessary for troubleshooting purposes.
    • Perform weekly inventory of all supplies usage and confirm that inventories are at their appropriate levels
    • Set up teleconferencing equipment for meetings and maintain a log of loaner equipment requests.
    • Complete morning\afternoon checklists to ensure proper backups and functionality of our systems.

    Qualifications

    What we’re looking for:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent education/training;
    • MCP, MCSA, MCSE, A+, Network+, Security+ certifications a plus
    • One or more years related experience and training in computer technology and programming.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and carry a mobile device for work email.
    • Ability to work in rotating shifts to ensure proper 7am to 7pm (M-F) coverage.
    • Ability to work on nights and or weekends when necessary, and travel via air to regional offices
